I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and grew up taking rigorous Honors and AP courses while also participating in sports and extracurricular activities. I began working as a peer tutor at Palisades Charter High School in 2013 where I found my passion for helping students reach their academic potential. After a decade spent continuing my education on the East Coast (B.A. Tufts University, 2019; M.A. Columbia University 2020) and working as a full-time high school teacher, I am back in my hometown to help students whose shoes I stood in not too long ago. Students appreciate me for my warm approach, sense of humor, and willingness to challenge them to the height of their abilities. As a result, students report back increases in both their grades and self-confidence.
